Creating boundaries is not a sign of secrecy or distrust — it’s an expression of what makes you feel comfortable and what you would like or not like to happen within the relationship. More at: http://5il.co/21h0. #LoveIsRespect #TMUnityMonth

Last month, Cascade Elementary students received a special visit from Katherine Pryor, Author of Sylvia's Spinach and Zora's Zucchini! Ms. Pryor encouraged students to try new vegetables and visit their local famers market! Each student also came away with a new book. Thank you to the Washington State Farmers Market Association, Artist Trust and of course, Ms. Pryor for making this happen!

Open, honest and safe communication is a fundamental part of a healthy relationship. In all relationships, make sure you can speak up, you respect your partner and they respect you, you both can compromise, you are both supportive, and you respect each other’s privacy.
