MSD INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSURE WEDNESDAY, DEC. 17:

Due to power outages at schools across the system today, Dec. 17, Marysville School District will be closed.  

All before and after-school activities and athletics are also canceled.

MSD Athletics Update:

Today's high school swim meet against Monroe has been canceled due to flooding and weather conditions in Monroe. The MSD swim team will have a regular practice instead.

Monroe wrestlers will also not be coming to tonight's wrestling event at Marysville Getchell.

Tomorrow's Heritage Hawks basketball games in White Swan are also canceled.

The Marysville School District is aware that the recent influx of wet weather is impacting some members of our community and neighboring districts.

Marysville School District buses have so far been able to transport students to and from school safely. The MSD Transportation team expects that buses will continue to be able to pick up students safely tomorrow.

MSD Leadership does not anticipate any district-wide school closures or delays due to the weather, but will continue to monitor the situation overnight.

However, MSD schools are ready to provide flexibility with student tardies and absences for families who have been affected by flood road closures and evacuations.

Ultimately, our students' safety is our top priority.

Congratulations to our NJROTC Orienteering teams-17 Students from MP, MG, & TOTEM competed at a State Orienteering meet this past Sat. Our JV Male team finished 2nd of 11 competing teams!

Fall Parent Teacher Conferences happen again today from 11:45 am - 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm. You can see your student's teachers in the commons, the library, and the small cafeteria. Hope to see you here.

UPDATE: The internet has been restored.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: The Marysville School District is experiencing a district-wide internet outage this morning. Phones are still working.

Currently there is no timeline for internet being back up, but our tech team is actively working on this and collaborating with external providers to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience!

In order to ensure the safety of all, every vehicle parked on M P campus must have a current parking permit. Enforcement begins this Thursday morning. Vehicles without a permit sticker will not be allowed to park in any lot on campus.
Permits are free. Forms may be picked up in the main office or on our website. Valid license and insurance are required.

To help ensure the safety of students and staff, all vehicles parked on campus must have a current parking pass. Forms may be picked up in the main office. License, insurance and parent signature are required before a permits can be issued. Parking permits will be strictly enforced beginning Oct. 16th.

The MP Indigenous Mural Recognition Ceremony will be held on 10/14 at 11:00 am. The mural is dedicated to honor our connection with the Tulalip Tribes and land that our school sits on. Hear the history of Pilchuck Julia, student speakers, and drumming and singing by community members, MP students, and the QCT Rez Dogs. Please sign in at the main office if you are attending the event.
