Due to power outages at schools across the system today, Dec. 17, Marysville School District will be closed.

We are happy to report that the power at all Marysville Tulalip Campus schools (Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary, 10th Street Middle, Legacy and Heritage High Schools) has now been restored.

The power is out at the Marysville Tulalip Campus, affecting Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary, 10th Street Middle, as well as Heritage and Legacy High Schools.
According to our partners at PUD, a tree has fallen onto a power line, and there is no estimated timeline for power being restored.
However, school is still in session. MSD Leadership intends to dismiss students at the regular time today. Our bus service is uninterrupted.
We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as they become available.
The Marysville School District is aware that the recent influx of wet weather is impacting some members of our community and neighboring districts.
Marysville School District buses have so far been able to transport students to and from school safely. The MSD Transportation team expects that buses will continue to be able to pick up students safely tomorrow.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: The Marysville School District is experiencing a district-wide internet outage this morning. Phones are still working.
Currently there is no timeline for internet being back up, but our tech team is actively working on this and collaborating with external providers to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience!
Community Transit is the public transit agency that serves Snohomish County. They offer school programming that we are excited to host on October 28th. This presentation will teach students about the Free Youth Transit program, how to read information at a bus stop, how to use online tools to locate a nearby route or plan a trip, and most importantly how to be safe, appropriate, and savvy transit users. Students board a real bus, meet a Coach Operator, and learn how to use the bike rack. Students also receive a free youth ORCA card that they can use on all regional public transit. Learning how to use public transit is an essential life skill and can help all students access more opportunities now and in the future.

Update, 12:33 p.m.: Power restored to the campus and its schools.
All schools on the Marysville Tulalip Campus (Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary, 10th Street Middle School, Legacy High School, and Tulalip Heritage High School) are without power. The PUD is investigating the outage. Schools will remain in session. We will provide an update as soon as power is restored.

Marysville School District will operate on a 2-hour late start with buses on limited transportation routes. There is no half-day preschool (a.m. or p.m.) and no out-of-district transportation, including Sno-Isle Skill Center, Regional Apprenticeship Program, and McKinney-Vento. Stay safe and warm!
