Annual Vision and Hearing screening of 7th grade students takes place on November 6. Parents will be notified via letter or phone call of a concern/referral and the need to follow up with their family medical provider. The Marysville School District Nurses will be conducting the vision screens using the Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screener. The Spot Vision Screener is a handheld vision screening device that helps users quickly and easily detect vision issues and screens both eyes at once for close and distance vision. The Spot screener has been available since 2012 and widely used. Please let the school know when your child sees an eye Doctor and the results.
