Our proud staff of bus drivers, paraprofessionals, and liaisons happily delivered over 5,000 meals today, Tuesday, March 24! Practicing social distancing and taking all required precautions, staff have enjoyed providing grab and go meals for our students. The grab and go meals are delivered each week day (and will continue through what was Spring Break). The buses stop at neighborhood routes across the school district and then park at each elementary school (except Allen Creek) from 11:30 - 12:30 for those who live near the schools. Allen Creek has grab and go meals from 10:30 - 12:30 as it also serves the YMCA site there. Click HERE for a list of the neighborhood routes. The meals are available at no cost for youth ages 1 - 18 and those enrolled in the district's 18 - 21 year program.
We miss our students and it has warmed our staff members' hearts to serve in this way.
